Annunziata Vestri - Rosa Mamai
Winner of “Laura Volpi”, “Maria Caniglia” and Rosertum Lyric Contests, she made her debut in 2003 as Suzuki. Eclectic artist with bold acting qualities she can boast a huge repertoire that spams from Bel Canto to Verdi and Puccini's masterpieces. She recently sang Preziosilla in La Forza del Destino at the Teatro Regio in Parma and Ninetta in Les vêpres siciliennes at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, both of them conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti. She also performed Il viaggio a Reims in Florence, Elektra at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Madama Butterfly in Bergamo, Novara, Rigoletto a Pisa, and she sang as Irene in Belisario, for the opening night season at the Bergamo Musica Festival in Bergamo. She made her outstanding film debut in C. Verdone movie "La Cenerentola", Rada Film production.
Future plans: Maddalena in Rigoletto at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa and recital in Montecarlo.
Mariangela Sicilia - Vivetta
Promising Italian soprano, she won the Tito Schipa lyric contest in Lecce, making her debut as Adina in L’Elisir d’Amore. She recently performed Musetta in La Bohème in Lucca, Pisa and Ravenna, Arsenia in Jommelli’s Don Trastullo at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; Il Viaggio a Reims at the Rossini Opera Festival; Cléopatre at the Withsun Festival in Salzburg.
Future plans include L’Elisir d’Amore at the Teatro Real in Madrid and at the Opéra de Montecarlo.
Cristopher Robertson - Baldassarre
At his ease in the German, French and Italian repertoire as well as in the early twentieth century repertoire he took part in major productions such as Les Dialogues des Carmelites at La Scala conducted by Riccardo Muti, Billy Budd at Houston Grand Opera, Die Tote Stadt at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. He also performed at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Liceu in Barcelona, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, the Bayerische Staatsoper, the San Francisco Opera, the New Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv and the Teatro Municipal in Santiago. His repertoire include a number of works by Wagner, Richard Strauss, Verdi, Puccini, Massenet and Janacek.
